SWEET FLAG ROOT
Instruction: It improves digestive process, increase appetite, possesses anaesthetic influence on mucous membrane, also renders anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, spasmalytic, cholagogue, diuretic and wound repairing affect. It is applied internally for chronic gastritis (especially accompanied by secretary insufficiency), chronic enteritis, colitis, cholecystitis and hepatitis, externally for stomatitis, gingivitis, parodontosis, angina catarrhalis, acute vaginitis, purulent wounds and ulcers.
Way of application: 200 ml (1 glass) boiling water is poured over 10 gr crushed raw materials, brewed for 15 minutes in a boiling water bath, cooled at room temperature, filtered, boiled water is added till it possesses its initial volume. It is taken 3-4 times a day, 1/4 glass each time. Brew may be used for gargle (angina catarrhalis) and washing of the traumatized areas (purulent wound and ulcers).
